Just days after ending their codeshare with United, Aer Lingus has announced an expansion of its codeshare agreement with American Airlines, allowing customers to book more transatlantic flights through both airlines’ websites.

The expanded agreement now includes flights between Dublin-Philadelphia (PHL) and Dublin-Chicago (ORD), providing customers with increased travel options and flexibility on European-transatlantic routes.

The existing codeshare arrangement between Aer Lingus and American Airlines already allows customers to book direct flights from Dublin to Charlotte and Dallas-Fort Worth via aerlingus.com.

This expansion is a significant step forward in Aer Lingus’ partnership with American Airlines, as well as their participation in the wider Atlantic Joint Business (AJB) partnership, which also includes British Airways, Iberia, and Finnair. Additionally, Aer Lingus customers can now book codeshare connecting flights with American Airlines to various destinations in the United States, such as Albuquerque, Nashville, Dallas-Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Portland, San Jose, Tampa, and Tucson.
