Aer Lingus has reopened its Future Pilot Programme for applications from January 29 to February 10, 2025, aiming to train 90 pilots over five years.

The programme promotes diversity and seeks to increase female representation in its pilot ranks, currently at 11%.

Successful candidates will participate in a 14-month course starting in September 2025, with training at an international academy and continuous support in Dublin.

Trainees will qualify for a Multi-crew Pilot’s Commercial Licence and operate modern, environmentally friendly aircraft, including the new Airbus A321 XLR.
