Aer Lingus launch new route to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina for summer 2026 (its 26th trans-Atlantic)

Aer Lingus today announces that the airline will commence a new year-round direct service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport, North Carolina and Dublin, Ireland, commencing from April 13th, 2026. The new route launches ahead of the 2026 Aer Lingus College Football Classic, which will see UNC face TCU at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, with the team travelling from Raleigh-Durham International Airport to Dublin for the much-anticipated week-zero game.

Aer Lingus is to launch a new seasonal route to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina on April 13 next as part of its largest transatlantic summer schedule in 2026,.

The schedule includes a third daily flights from Dublin to New York JFK and Boston . The airline is increasing frequency on routes to Nashville and Indianapolis from 4w to 5w . The service to Orlando will operate daily during peak summer. Aer Lingus services from Shannon to Boston will increase from 7w to 10w in peak summer.

The new route to North Carolina will support educational and business travel, linking the region with Ireland. It will bring the total number of routes Aer Lingus operate to North America to twenty-six.
