
Aer Lingus has marked two years of direct transatlantic flights from Manchester Airport, having flown 500k passengers since October 2021.
In 2023, Aer Lingus increased seat capacity by 63k additional seats compared to 2022, responding to a 30pc increase in flight demand year-on-year.
The airline has targetted 20pc of the trans-Atlantic market from Manchester.
Direct flights to Barbados will resume from November 1st, operating three times a week.
Aer Lingus’ Manchester fleet consists of two A330 aircraft, providing daily flights to New York’s JFK and flights 4w to Orlando, Florida.
