Aer Lingus partnership remains in place after Jetblue confirms Boston & JFK daily s24

The partnership between Aer Lingus and Jetblue remains unchanged following the announcement of Jetblue’s daily service connecting Boston and New York JFK with Dublin next summer.  

Aer Lingus says it has a strong partnership with Jet Blue and that will continue. They co-locate with them in Boston in terminal C, codeshare on and connect to each other’s flights. The two airlines now use different terminals at JFK, where Aer Lingus are now in terminal 9 and Jetblue in terminal 5.

The service will use a 160-seater A321 neo with 12 flatbed seats in mint class (pitch 58-80 inches), four closed suites, and 144 standard seats (33 inch).

The season will commence on March 17 2024 and will mean three airlines will compete on Dublin to New York and three on Dublin to Boston  next year.  Flight times for the new service are:

  • B6 353 Boston Dublin 22:30 Arr 08:45 (next day)
  • B6 354 Dublin Boston 11:30 Arr 14:45
  • B6 841 JFK Dublin 21:30 Arr 08.15 (next day)
  • B6 842 Dublin JFK 11:45 Arr 15:25

The Aer Lingus A321neo LR is configured 16J in an alternating 2-2, 1-1 across pattern and with an effective 77 inch lie-flat pitch with 168 seats 3-3 across in economy at 31 in pitch.

Jet Blue offers 16 fully enclosed Mint Suites converting to a 77″ long fully-flat bed in business class, diagonal to the centre-line, 42 designated economy “Even More Space” seats in economy 3.3 across with 32-25 inch pitch and 102 economy “Core” seats at 32 in.
