Aer Lingus is to operate two new direct routes from Cork Airport to Bilbao and Bordeaux, operating three times a week.

Bordeaux is famous for its wine culture and stunning architecture, featuring attractions such as La Cité du Vin and the gothic Cathédrale Saint-André, while Bilbao showcases Basque culture with its art scene and traditional pintxos.

These routes are part of Aer Lingus’s commitment to enhancing travel options for customers in Southern Ireland and are expected to provide rich cultural experiences in both destinations.

In addition to the new routes, Aer Lingus will increase flight frequencies to popular sun destinations from Cork, including Lanzarote, Tenerife, and Palma de Mallorca, starting in spring 2025. Fares start at €59.99.
