AerCap Holdings has signed lease agreements with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) for six new Airbus aircraft, including three A320neos and three A321neos, scheduled for delivery in 2026.
The agreements were finalized by Samir Rzayev, President of AZAL, and Peter Anderson, Chief Commercial Officer of AerCap, marking the inclusion of AZAL as a new customer for AerCap.
Peter Anderson emphasized that the A320neo and A321neo are in high demand and will enable AZAL to enhance its customer service and expand its destinations while modernizing its fleet with fuel-efficient aircraft.
AZAL President Samir Rzayev highlighted that the new leases will improve passenger comfort and service quality, contribute to network expansion, and underscore AZAL’s credibility in the international aviation market.
