AerCap has been granted an order by London High Court that specialty insurance and reinsurance broker McGill & Partners should disclose documentation related to reinsurance connected to 116 aircraft and 23 engines that were seized in Russia following the invasion of Ukraine.

AerCap, headed up by Gus Kelly and based in St Stephen’s Green, is involved in a legal dispute with insurers over claims for aircraft that were not returned, and McGill & Partners, the broker, initially refused to provide the requested documentation due to concerns regarding potential sanctions violations.
