AerCap has reached an agreement with Turkish Airlines for the lease of three new Boeing 787-9 aircraft, 25 new MAX-8 aircraft, and lease extensions for six used Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

The delivery of the new aircraft is scheduled to take place between 2024 and 2026, and this transaction is expected to support Turkish Airlines’ growth plans and enhance the efficiency of their fleet. Turkish is expected to place the world’s largest order for new aircraft.

AerCap’s CEO, Aengus Kelly thanked Ahmet Bolat and Levent Konukcu and the Turkish Airlines management team for the confidence they have placed in AerCap. “We look forward to continuing to build on our strong partnership as these aircraft deliver.”
