AerFin acquires B777-300ER for disassembly to supply parts

World Star Aviation has delivered a Boeing 737-800 freighter to SolitAir in Dubai, supporting the cargo airline’s expansion, with AerFin acquiring a B777-300ER for disassembly to supply parts.

SMBC Aero Engine Lease provided a fuel-efficient PW1127G-JM engine to Group Engine Management GmbH in July 2025, aiding Lufthansa Group’s Airbus A320neo operations.

Belfast’s Catagen launched ClimaHtech Green Flight, securing SAF offtake agreements with Ryanair and Shell, using modular reactors for decentralised production of 1m litres annually.

AerCap Cargo delivered two Boeing 777-300ERSF freighters to Kalitta Air, certified for 100-tonne payloads, with operations starting in October 2025.

Delta Air Lines partners with Maeve Aerospace to develop a hybrid electric regional aircraft, targeting 40pc fuel savings, and with Green Taxi for electric taxiing solutions to cut emissions.
