Airbnb have updated features for their 2023 Winter Release based on user feedback. The updates include:
Guest Favourites: Airbnb will curate a collection of 2m highly-rated homes worldwide, known as Guest Favourites. These homes consistently receive excellent ratings, have minimal cancellations or customer service incidents, and can be easily discovered with a new badge and filter.
- Revamped Ratings & Reviews: Improvements to the ratings and reviews system will help guests better understand the quality of each home. Guests can now sort reviews by recency and rating, view a distribution chart of reviews, and access additional information about each reviewer and their trip.
- Listings Tab: Hosts will have a centralised destination to showcase their home’s details. This includes an AI-powered photo tour that organizes photos by rooms, helping guests understand the layout. Hosts can also connect compatible smart locks to generate entry codes for each guest.
- Upgrades for Hosts: Hosts will enjoy additional upgrades, such as the ability to compare prices with similar listings nearby directly from their calendar. They will also have a redesigned earnings dashboard for a clear view of past and future payments.
Additionally, there will be new options to pay and message Co-Hosts within the app.
