
Air Astana signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus to order 25 A320neo family aircraft with a further 25 purchase options.
The aircraft operated by the mainline and its low-cost carrier subsidiary FlyArystan included both A320-200Ns and A321-200Ns, with the majority as A321-200NX(LR)s.
Deliveries began in 2031.
Air Astana operated eleven A320-200Ns, three A321-200s, four A321-200Ns, and thirteen A321-200NX(LR)s in its narrowbody fleet, while FlyArystan operated fifteen A320-200s and thirteen A320-200Ns.
The group’s only non-A320 family aircraft consisted of three B767-300ERs operated by the mainline.
