Air Canada and Norse Atlantic Airways will be joining Aer Lingus in from the new Terminal 6 at JFK Airport, which is currently under construction and set to partially open in 2026, JFK Millennium Partners has announced.

The new terminal will feature ten gates, with six opening first and completion expected by 2028. Air Canada will join several other airlines currently confirmed as future operators, including Lufthansa and JetBlue.

Aer Lingus has already confirmed it will move from its interim home at Terminal 7 at New York JFK to the newly constructed terminal There it will open a brand new Aer Lingus flagship lounge.

Air Canada Express currently offers flights to JFK’s Terminal 7 but will benefit from improved operations at Terminal 6, enhancing customer experiences and connections for travelers using their hubs in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.

Norse Atlantic Airways, known for its low-cost long-haul services, will also transition its operations to the new terminal, expanding options for passengers traveling from various European cities to New York.
