Syrian state television reported that airports in Damascus and Aleppo are out of service due to Israeli strikes.
According to the report, the Aleppo airport sustained damage, but no casualties were reported. No information was provided about the situation in Damascus.
State media said runways had been damaged at both Damascus and Aleppo airports and flights would be diverted to Latakia, a city in north-west Syria.
