Almando Rigby becomes GM of Saint Lucia’s Windjammer Landing

Saint Lucia’s Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences has appointed Almando Rigby as General Manager.

Almando Rigby took up the role on 15 June 2026. He brings more than 20 years of experience in ultra luxury resorts across the Caribbean. Rigby most recently served as Executive Assistant Manager at Rock House Resort in Turks and Caicos where he led more than 145 colleagues.

Rigby previously held the position of Director of Rooms with Grace Bay Resorts. He maintained Forbes level service standards. His background includes senior roles in resort operations, retail management, financial oversight and team leadership.

Rigby will oversee all resort operations at Windjammer Landing with a focus on performance, revenue and guest experience. He holds a Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University and pursues an MBA in Strategic Management. The appointment follows a 40m dollar renovation at the Saint Lucia property.
