Amadeus and Lufthansa have revealed details of the EU Digital Identity Wallet, set for launch in 2026.
The wallet stores passports, IDs, payment methods, and biometric profiles for one-tap check-in and boarding. The partners say that trials demonstrated streamlined online check-in, bag drop, and biometric enrolment.
