Pan American World Airways has signed a letter of agreement with Amadeus to support its return to scheduled service.

The partnership equips Pan Am with integrated IT solutions for seamless booking, inventory management, and day-of-travel services. Amadeus will serve as the distribution partner using NDC and traditional sourcing technologies to enhance global visibility. The carrier plans its relaunch subject to US FAA and DOT approvals. This collaboration aims to deliver a premium retail experience while honouring Pan Am’s legacy in aviation.

Ed Wegel shared Pan Am is more than a brand – it is the most iconic name in commercial aviation history, and its return must be powered by best-in-class technology. Partnering with Amadeus provides a world-class foundation to build a modern, competitive, customer-focused airline that honours Pan Am’s legacy while delivering the innovation and reliability today’s travellers expect.
