The Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO) has launched the Joint Arctic Search and Rescue Arena (JASA) as part of their initiative to enhance safety in Arctic expedition cruise operations.
JASA is a collaborative network and platform that aims to address and solve search and rescue (SAR) challenges in the Arctic.
The initiative involves partnerships with various SAR entities, including the Canadian and Icelandic Coast Guard, the Joint Arctic Command, and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Norway.
