Atlantic Aviation Group turnover increases to €131.7m

Patrick Jordan, owner of Atlantic Aviation Group and Secto, saw a 75pc increase in combined turnover to €131.7m last year after acquiring Lufthansa Technik Shannon for €15m in cash.

Quadview, wholly-owned by Mr Jordan, recently sold its 50pc interest in Eirtrade Aviation, as US-based private equity group Acorn Growth Companies took a majority stake in Eirtrade.

Quadview posted a pre-tax profit of €6.3m last year, slightly down from the previous year, with €117.7m generated in Ireland and the rest in England.

Aircraft repair and overhaul services accounted for €86.6m of turnover, while Secto’s infrastructure services accounted for €33m.

Atlantic Aviation Group’s operating profits halved to €1m last year, despite a 33pc increase in turnover to €45.4m, following the acquisition of Lufthansa Technik Shannon.

The accounts for Atlantic Aviation Group do not include the former Lufthansa business, which saw a decrease in turnover from €59.2m to €46.5m and an operating loss of €116k compared to a €1.8m profit in 2021.
