AvCon 2025 has announced that its next student event is to take place in October at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel, and will be Ireland’s largest aviation event.

The event is expected to attract over 8,000 students aged 15–25 in person, with an additional 14,000 attending online via TYHub.ie.

AvCon 2025 aims to address the widening skills gap in various fields, including engineering, piloting, and air traffic control. The organisers say the event is exclusive to registered attendees and industry or education invitations to foster meaningful engagement between participants and the sector.

The organisers are eager to discuss the economic impact of the event and the importance of industry involvement in shaping future careers.
