The AVEA conference, held 12-14 October 2025 in Waterford, will offer Learning Journeys to delegates including workshops on inclusive tourism and theatre skills.
Learning Journey #1, facilitated by Fáilte Ireland, focuses on creating accessible visitor experiences at the Tower Hotel Waterford.
Learning Journey #2, led by Phil Kingston at Garter Lane Theatre, teaches theatre-based communication techniques for business.
A live recording of the “Skip the Queue” podcast will discuss retail and e-commerce strategies for attractions. Self-guided visits to Waterford attractions, such as Reginald’s Tower and the Medieval Museum, are available on 13 October.
