The Irish Aviation Students’ Association (IASA) has celebrated its tenth anniversary, having been established in 2015 to connect students with opportunities in the aviation industry, growing into Ireland’s leading aviation organisation over the past decade.
IASA’s journey includes key milestones such as the launch of the inaugural Aviation Symposium in October 2015, which attracted over 220 participants and showcased the association’s potential for career development.
Recent activities include the introduction of an ASG scholarship for aspiring pilots, which offers comprehensive training for the Private Pilot Licence and Airline Transport Pilot Licence, valued at €3,550 combined.
IASA plans to celebrate its 10th anniversary with events such as the summer celebration to reconnect past and present members, along with the annual Careers Expo that brings airlines and students together for networking, Ireland’s largest aviation student career event, bringing together airlines, leasing companies, training providers, and aviation professionals under one roof.
The association continues to expand its influence through partnerships, innovative programs, and student engagement initiatives, ensuring that future aviation professionals have access to valuable resources and support.
