Avolta and Edinburgh Airport launched a newly expanded World Duty Free store, now measuring 1,740 square meters, following a 30pc increase in retail space and a full refurbishment aimed at enhancing the shopping experience.

The revamped store includes advanced digital features, a significant World of Whiskies section, and dedicated shop-in-shop areas for major whisky brands like Glenmorangie and Johnnie Walker, offering immersive experiences such as tastings and personalised engraving services.

In addition to whisky, the store showcases an expanded beauty section with popular brands like Charlotte Tilbury and Kylie Cosmetics, a wellness area featuring ethically sourced products, and a premium fragrance concept store highlighting niche luxury brands.

Local Scottish products are prominently featured, including exclusive gin expressions and a variety of souvenirs, with interactive elements like quizzes for freebies, reflecting Avolta’s commitment to enhancing passenger experiences at the airport.
