Dondra Ritzenthaler is the new Chief Executive Officer of Azamara cruises and Alain Ferzli the new Chief Financial Officer.
Ms Ritzenthaler is a 40-year veteran of the travel industry, will start in her new role in May 2024. She brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and American Airlines.
Mr Ferzli has joined Azamara as the Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in driving profitable growth within the cruise industry. Previously, he held financial leadership roles with Royal Caribbean and served as the acting CFO for Virgin Voyages.
Dan Hanrahan will oversee the operation as president. He said: “Our team has worked diligently to maintain a solid foundation for Azamara amid unique industry-wide challenges over the last several years. Dondra and Alain’s deep knowledge of and experience leading cruise lines will support the shift of our focus to expanding our business and realizing Azamara’s full potential.”
