BA to return to Abu Dhabi in April

British Airways, headed up by Sean Doyle, will be returning to Abu Dhabi from 20th April 2024, after not operating there since early 2020.

They will offer daily flights year-round to Abu Dhabi, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

The flight schedule includes BA73 departing from Heathrow at 2225 and arriving in Abu Dhabi at 0830 the next day, with the return leg BA72 leaving Abu Dhabi at 1010 and arriving back in London at 1520.

British Airways will be competing with Etihad, the national carrier of the UAE, on this route. They will operate from the new Terminal A at Abu Dhabi airport, which is scheduled to open next month.

To celebrate the relaunch, British Airways is offering return fares starting at £449 in World Traveller and £1,999 in Club World for bookings made before 12th November.
