British Airways has completed an upgrade of its lounge at the satellite terminal Heathrow T5B as part of a broader refresh of its lounges at the airport.

The renovations include the addition of a servery area with a live food preparation section, an enhanced deli area with more options, and the introduction of a quiet zone. The lounge has also been given a makeover with new furniture, flooring, and soft furnishings.

The refurb follows the opening of a Whispering Angel rosé wine bar at the lounge earlier this summer. Elsewhere:

  • British Airways recently opened new bars at its T3 and T5 First lounges at Heathrow. In the coming months, the airline plans to unveil a new bar and an improved menu at its Seattle lounge, refresh its Edinburgh lounge, and introduce day beds at its Heathrow Concorde Room.
  • British Airways has also introduced new snack boxes on long-haul flights, featuring chocolates, biscuits, and popcorn, to enhance the in-flight experience for its World Traveller and World Traveller Plus passengers.
  • British Airways is moving more of its long haul flight operation from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3  from October 29th, select British Airways flights will operate from Terminal 3 at London Heathrow.
  • BA says Terminal 3 at London Heathrow offers all the amenities you would expect from an international airport, including a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, and two British Airways departure lounges: the Galleries First Lounge and the Galleries Club Lounge.
