Aircraft damage at Bridgetown’s airport forced TUI to cancel the London-bound flight BY21 (TOM21) from Barbados and flyers were left waiting for rebooking, sleeping on airport benches.

A ground vehicle carrying disabled passengers to the aircraft was heard striking the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Premium passengers were offered hotels for the night while economy passengers were left in the terminal.
