Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre has reopened on Saturday, November 11th, after completing necessary emergency works.
The Visitor Centre is now fully operational and ready to welcome visitors to Oldbridge House.
The Walled Garden is temporarily closed to the public for landscaping and maintenance works.
The upcoming Oldbridge Christmas Fair will take place on November 25th and 26th. Although the Obelisk Bridge may be closed to traffic, the Oldbridge Estate is still accessible via the Donore Road. The event promises a festive atmosphere with plenty of parking, food and craft stalls, seasonal music, and an opportunity to support local craft makers and food producers. The fair will be open from 10 am to 4 pm on both days.
The Battle of the Boyne group, which aims to protect the environmental heritage of the Boyne Valley proposed an all-Ireland military history museum at the site.
