United Airlines has announced its largest international expansion, introducing services to eight new destinations for summer 2025, including several unserved routes in Europe, Greenland, and Asia.

Notable new routes include flights from Newark to Palermo (Italy), Bilbao (Spain), and Nuuk (Greenland), with the airline aiming to enhance travel to less accessible regions while maintaining over 760 weekly flights to more than 40 destinations in Europe.

The airline will also offer year-round flights to Dakar (Senegal) and plans seasonal services from Tokyo Narita to Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) and Kaohsiung (Taiwan), while establishing a unique connection to Puerto Escondido (Mexico) from Houston.

These expansions reflect United’s goal to cater to a diverse range of travellers, supported by data-driven route decisions, and aim to build on previous successes in connecting the U.S. to new international destinations.
