The Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway in Meath has been given a new 7km bituminous surface,.
Over 10km of continuous smooth surfacing now connects Wilkinstown to Nobber.
The upgrade enhances safety and comfort for cycling, walking, and running.
Funding came from Transport Infrastructure Ireland and the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme.
The project is part of a plan to surface the entire greenway over the next two years.
Meath County Council shared: “Greenway users and service providers, thank you for your cooperation through the recent surfacing works.”
