
Friday will be the busiest day of the October bank holiday weekend in Irish airports. Dublin airport will set a record for October, with 109k passengers arriving and departing of which 60k are on departing flights.
Also a record, 405k passengers will travel through Dublin Airport during the October bank holiday weekend, compared with 388k for the equivalent weekend in pre-pandemic 2019. London and Amsterdam are the most popular European destinations, while New York and Chicago are the most popular transatlantic destinations.
Passengers are advised to arrive at least two hours in advance of a short-haul flight and three hours prior to a long-haul flight.
Passengers are encouraged to book parking online in advance and consider alternative transportation options such as buses, taxis, or drop-offs.

- Liquids over 100ml are not allowed through the security screening area, except for medicines and baby food.
