Cathay Group’s CEO, Ronald Lam, plans to extend free inflight wifi to business class passengers and Cathay Diamond members by mid-2024.
The group is revamping its fleet of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, with new ‘Aria’ business class suites set to debut on these renovated planes.
The revamped aircraft will also feature a new premium economy cabin.
The carrier has now restored 70pc of its pre-Covid-19 flights, with passenger numbers significantly increasing in 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.
