CDB Aviation delivered two Airbus A320neo aircraft to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) as part of a lease agreement signed in June 2024.
The A320neos, powered by CFM LEAP-1A26 engines, support AZAL’s fleet modernisation, replacing older A320 and A319 models.
The delivery marks CDB Aviation’s first transaction in Azerbaijan, with AZAL as its newest regional customer.
The new aircraft aim to enhance passenger comfort and promote sustainable travel through improved fuel efficiency.
The initiative aligns with AZAL’s strategy to expand and modernise its operations.
