Ireland’s only Michelin-star pub, the Wild Honey Inn in Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare, is for sale for €1.25m.The 967 sqm Victorian-style establishment includes 16 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, operated by Aidan McGrath and Kate Sweeney since 2009.
The inn received its Michelin star in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2018. It features 13 en-suite guest bedrooms, a four-bed private residence, reception, veranda, two bars with open fireplaces, restaurant, guest lounge, function room, commercial kitchen, and landscaped walled garden.
The property is open from March to October and accommodates the annual Matchmaking Festival in Lisdoonvarna.
Aidan McGrath shared: “I’m cooking for 43 years and it’s kind of come to the time where we need to start enjoying life a little bit.”
