
The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) England & Ireland announced the latest Hall of Fame inductees at its annual Winter Ball on December 18, 2024, honouring Alison Earnshaw from World Travel Holdings and Peter Shanks from Silversea.
Alison Earnshaw has contributed over 20 years to the travel industry, with 14 years specifically in the cruise sector, while Peter Shanks has a strong background in expanding Silversea’s presence in regions.
Industry recognition awards were also given to Sara Macefield, Nicki Tempest Mitchell, and Jamie Loizou, rewarding their contributions to the cruise sector.
CLIA managing director Andy Harmer praised the inductees for their dedication and passion, encouraging others in the industry to draw inspiration from their accomplishments as the Hall of Fame celebrates its ongoing recognition of excellence in cruising: Congratulations to this year’s Hall of Fame inductees. They serve as inspiring role models, not only for their peers but also for everyone aspiring to begin or progress their career in the sector.”
