Construction has begun on a €2m tourism project at Bray Head, Valentia Island, enhancing the Wild Atlantic Way.
The project includes restoring the historic Bray Head Signal Tower, installing a new concrete spiral staircase, and creating a viewing platform.
Upgrades to the access road and car park will improve visitor accessibility to this scenic location.
This Discovery Point will complement other nearby sites including Kerry Cliffs and Fogher Cliffs on Geokaun Mountain.
“Fiona Monaghan from Fáilte Ireland shared, ‘We’re pleased to mark the beginning of construction on the Discovery Point at Bray Head today.‘”
