The 2024 Cork St. Patrick’s Day Parade theme is ‘Pure Imagination,’ aiming to bring a magical and mysterious world to life and ignite the attendees’ imaginations.

The parade showcases a vibrant and colourful display, featuring various communities in Cork, including sporting groups, dance schools, brass bands, and special guests from around the world.

Scheduled for Sunday, March 17, the parade will commence at 1 pm, following a route starting on the South Mall near Parnell Bridge, proceeding down the Grand Parade, turning onto St. Patrick’s Street, and concluding on Merchant’s Quay.

Accessibility features include an Irish Sign Language interpretation near the grandstand on St. Patrick’s Street and a designated area for wheelchair users and those requiring additional space near Dunnes Stores and Gentlemen’s Quarters, ensuring inclusivity for all attendees. Additionally, the parade will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person or outside of Cork.
