Cork County Council is being urged to revive plans for the Duhallow Greenway, which has substantial economic and tourism potential for the region, as initially proposed in 2019.
The first phase of the project involves creating an 8km greenway route between Kanturk and Newmarket, following the route of the former Kanturk-Newmarket Railway Line, which closed in 1963.
