
Sources close to the chairman of DAA say the board is investigating a third complaint against chief executive Kenny Jacobs, with whom they have agreed an exit deal.
The complaint relates to a speech at a retirement function 14 months ago to which an attendee took offence.
Previously, two complaints were filed via protected disclosures were dismissed after eight-month review. Jacobs is receiving a reported €1m package under a mediated agreement awaiting ministerial sign-off.
Minister Darragh O’Brien has asked both sides to negotiate a settlement.
