Delta Air Lines flight DL83 from Paris to Atlanta was diverted to Dublin due to an unruly passenger.

A man in his 30s was arrested following “an incident on board”, and the aircraft made an overweight landing at Dublin Airport. Delta shared: “Delta has zero tolerance for unruly behaviour and will work with law enforcement authorities to that end, We apologise to our customers for the delay in their travel.”

The plane, unable to dump fuel, continued to Atlanta, arriving nearly three hours late.

This follows incident on Tuesday involving a stowaway on a Delta flight from New York to Paris. The woman was caught onboard Delta Airlines flight 264 from New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on Tuesday.

A source told NBC News that upon landing in Paris, the stowaway was removed from the aircraft by police officers. Delta Air Lines shared in a statement: “Nothing is of greater importance than matters of safety and security. “That’s why Delta is conducting an exhaustive investigation of what may have occurred and will work collaboratively with other aviation stakeholders and law enforcement to that end.”
