Despite previous agreements among stakeholders, concerns regarding budget approvals and the recent ldisappoingting on the America’s Cup yachting event have stalled progress on the Ryder Cup project.
The Catalan government will need to invest €30 million over seven years to potentially host the event, which promises significant economic benefits, including an estimated €1.3 billion in tourism-related income and thousands of jobs.
