
Following the conclusion of the Destinations Global Leaders Forum, delegates will embark on learning trips throughout Ireland to engage with the country’s cultural and historical offerings.
Delegates are set to visit Athlone Castle, a key historical site, along with Glasson Lakehouse, located in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. The itinerary also includes exploration of Galway city and the Cliffs of Moher.
Throughout these trips, participants will experience the concept of placemaking, emphasizing the relationship between Ireland’s food, history, and cultural identity.
In a wrap up session in the Golldsmith Hall in the Raidson Blu hotel, CEO of Destinations International Don Welsh said he intends to grow the Global Leaders forum, which heads to Spain next year, to feature the top fifty destinations in the world.
