Details revealed of third ‘Cork on a fork’ food festival August 14–18

More details have been announced of the third ‘Cork on a Fork’ Festival 2024, a five-day food festival taking place from 14th-18th August 2024, offering new food experiences, food trails, tasting masterclasses, street events, talks, cooking demos, specials, family fun, and more.

The festival aims to showcase Cork’s unique food culture, culinary excellence, creative dining experiences, quality local produce, and multicultural food scene through exclusive dining experiences, street events, and sampling of incredible food from the region’s growers, producers, and farmers.

The event will feature sustainability workshops, pop-up experiences in unique locations, a live cooking demo marquee, a local food market on Emmet Place, and a focus on Cork’s rich history as a key provisioning center blending local food traditions with global flavors.

Organised in collaboration with Cork City Council, local hospitality businesses, Fáilte Ireland, Pure Cork, Cork Business Association, and Cork Airport, the festival promises a range of activities for all ages, including food trails, culinary experiences, workshops, live entertainment, and historical insights into Cork’s food heritage.
