Advice on Israel upgraded to ‘do not travel.’

The Department of Foreign Affairs has upgraded its advice on Israel to “Do not travel” from “avoid essential travel”. Iran is already the subject of a “do not travel”.

According to Taoiseach Micheál martin there are just 17 Irish citizens resident in Iran. Lebanon remains at “d not travel” and Egypt and Jordan at “high degree of caution.”

Lebanon airspace has been closed from until 6am tomorrow
