Dublin Aerospace has signed a new group of aircraft engineering apprentices, part of its commitment to workforce development through various apprenticeship programmes for mechanics and engineers.
Dublin Aerospace, founded in 2009 with just 18 staff members, has evolved into a leading MRO service provider, now employing over 500 people in Ireland and England.
The company operates a 4-bay Base Maintenance facility capable of servicing approximately 70 aircraft per year, including models like the A320, A330, and 737 families, along with an APU overhaul centre that handles 200 APUs annually.
In 2020, Dublin Aerospace announced a €15m expansion plan that led to the opening of a new facility in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, in 2021, focused on landing gear overhaul for Airbus A320 and Boeing B737 aircraft.
