
Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has confirmed it will not reuse material from its runway extension will expand its monitoring of PFAS chemical revenue following a detailed analysis by Fehily Timoney that confirmed their presence at the airport campus.
PFAS were previously used in firefighting foam at the airport, but have not been utilised since 2013
Fehily Timoney’s report revealed varying concentrations of PFAS in ground and surface water, soil, and concrete at Dublin Airport, with high levels near former firefighting foam usage areas
