Dublin Airport is currently exploring potential options to improve viewing options for plane spotters around the airport. Here is one mock-up of what such a facility could look like.
The mock-up, tweeted on X, pictures a raised viewing area with designated parking in a landscaped lay-by and asked for people’s interest.
Currently, plane spotters frequent popular locations along the R108 close to the southern end of runway 10/28.
