Dublin based Aergo sells on 4 Q400 on lease to Ethiopian

Falko Regional Aircraft Limited announced the acquisition of four Q400 NextGen aircraft on lease to Ethiopian flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines from Ballsbridge based Aergo Capital Limited.

The aircraft with MSNs 4469, 4472, 4475 and 4476, were purchased on behalf of Falko’s managed fund, Falko Regional Aircraft Opportunities.

Mark Hughes, Chief Commercial Officer said “since inception, Falko Fund II has invested in seventy-nine aircraft. This broadens Falko’s existing relationship with the airline, widely recognised as one of Africa’s top performing carriers both in terms of management and financial performance. With the Q400 suited to Ethiopian’s mission profile and operating environment, it is expected to be a long-term operator of this aircraft type.
