Avia Solutions Group, headquartered in Dublin, has acquired Australian airline Skytrans as part of its expansion in the region.
The acquisition will grant Avia an Australian air operator’s certificate (AOC), allowing it to operate both passenger and cargo services in the country.
Avia Solutions Group aims to establish and acquire seven additional airlines by the end of 2024, expanding its global footprint and addressing seasonality in its business.
