Dublin by Night Fest on Friday to kick off packed winter events programme

Further details have been released of the Winter in Dublin festival which kicks off from November to January with events designed to illuminate the city, including festive light displays, ice skating, and Christmas markets, providing plenty of reasons to visit during the colder months.

The opening weekend (November 1-2) features the Dublin by Night Fest , a free two-day celebration with live music, food trucks, art installations, and pop-up performances, transforming Dublin’s streets into a vibrant cultural playground.

On November 5, singer Imelda May headlines the “My Love For Dublin” event at Teeling Distillery, celebrating Dublin’s culture through storytelling and personal narratives in partnership with the Seanchoíche collective.

The winter programme includes activities such as Cathedral Night Tours at St. Patrick’s Cathedral , the Dublin Book Festival , a Ghostbus Tour , and the New Year’s Festival , culminating with fireworks displays and concerts to welcome 2025 in style.
